Junior High

The junior high program at St. Mary focuses on preparing young teenagers for the demands of high school. The Junior High teaching team combines their years of experience and knowledge to create a unique curriculum that challenges students to attain standards of excellence and strong character.

Having Unique Opportunities

  • designing and laying out yearbook
  • competing in Power of the Pen, a state-wide writing competition
  • competing in Academic Challenge, an all-county Catholic school contest
  • competing in Ohio Mathematics League contest
  • wearing the Junior High “uniform” on Fridays (Khaki Days)
  • participating in the National Junior Honor Society


Building Character

  • participating in class and school-wide service projects
  • experiencing a special retreat day
  • mentoring younger students in church
  • becoming a peer mediator
  • working the games for Field Day
  • being an ambassador for Open House
  • running for Student Council office
