The SMS school community celebrated Mardi Gras (Fat Tuesday) in various ways. The Preschool parade, anchored by Mrs. Plas on clarinet, provided the New Orleans Jazz Band musical background. The children learned about the Polish paczki tradition thanks to the generosity of Mrs. Boron. Mr. John literally put on cap on the day.
