St. Mary’s Student and Families reach out to Sandy victims

The students, teachers and families at St. Mary School wanted to reach out and help families in New Jersey who lost so much as a result of Super Storm Sandy. Everyone worked together and donated money towards cash cards for the families. A total of 73 gift cards worth $1,615 was raised.

During the Thanksgiving break a St. Mary school family, Joe and Pam Savoy and their sons, Eddie and Matt delivered the cash cards to St. Peter School in Point Pleasant, New Jersey. Attached are photos of some of the devastation to the Point Pleasant
area and a photo of Eddie and Matt with the students of St. Peter School. This was a wonderful project for our school and an example of how they are living through Christ’s light, making a difference every day. Thank you for sharing this project with your readers and listeners.
