Tuesday, September 5 was the first day of school for students in grades 1 through 8. They met their teachers in the parking lot where they received sunglasses because “Our Future is Bright!” On the first day the students and teachers prayed together, recited the Pledge of Allegiance, sang the Alma Mater played by the band, then each classroom teacher released a balloon. Starting with first grade each class was then clapped into the building to start their day. At 8:30 the school went to the church for Mass.
